Cardinal Group Companies in California seeks a Leasing Team Member (Full-time, Non-Exempt) with strong customer service and sales skills to drive occupancy and leasing activity at our community.

The compensation is CA salary range $17.75-$19.75 plus bonus potential. We offer health, vision, dental, and pet insurance, a 401(k) plan, student loan assistance, licensing and continuing education reimbursement, parental leave, and housing allowances or gifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
• High-energy and enjoys a fast pace environment.
• Enjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service.
• Great with people — warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone.
• Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
• Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by warmly greeting prospective clients, answering calls, determining needs, presenting the community and apartment homes, selling features/benefits, closing the sale, and following up.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in lease file audits.
• Maintain cleanliness of the tour path for a positive first impression.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, and vendors.
• Participate in community events and assist with various projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
