Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our newest lease-up. This role partners with the property management team to provide residents with excellent service, conduct tours, explain leases, and manage the leasing process through move-in.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of customer service experience, familiarity with MS Office, and strong presentation skills. Leasing experience is a plus but not required; onsite experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, conventional or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Strong customer service orientation and presenting abilities.
• Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Onsite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
• Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size, layout, amenities, services and lease terms.
• Fill out lease forms or agreements and collect security deposits.
• Periodically inspect properties and arrange for maintenance.
• Compile a list of available rental units.
• Identify potential prospects.
• Manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong resident relationships.
• Answer calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
• Request that prospects fill out applications and deposits following policies.
• Process applications for approvals and update availability reports; submit for approval to the Property Manager.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the scheduled date.
• Follow up with unclosed prospects and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Monitor local market trends and keep property comparables up to date.
