Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Manassas Park, VA to show and lease apartments, support the community's marketing plan, and maintain a positive resident experience. The role requires high school diploma or GED, 0–3 months related experience, and strong sales and customer-service skills.

Typical duties include coordinating applications, deposits, and property showings, while upholding Fair Housing standards and lease policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fair Housing training must be completed within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist applicant in completing rental applications and collect security deposits.
• Ensure model and target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean office and work areas.
• Know lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
• Be knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques and Fair Housing standards.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses to distribute information and updates.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under direction of the Community Manager.
• Process administrative forms, reports, and related information in a timely manner.
