Job summary

Bryten is seeking a proactive Leasing Consultant to welcome prospective and current residents. You will conduct tours, assist applicants through the leasing process, process lease paperwork, and respond to service requests to ensure a top-tier experience.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential; a valid driver’s license and Microsoft Office proficiency are required. This on-site role includes competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport, overcome objections and close leases.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Yardi, ResMan or similar property management software experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents, current residents, and guests in person, by phone, and online.
• Conduct community tours and showcase apartment homes and amenities.
• Assist prospective residents from inquiry through move-in.
• Process rental applications, lease renewals, and related documentation accurately.
• Respond to resident questions, concerns, and service requests promptly.
• Support resident retention through outstanding customer service and community engagement.
• Maintain organized resident files, records, and leasing documentation.
• Inspect community appearance and coordinate with maintenance to uphold standards.
• Assist with marketing initiatives to support occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
• Promote a positive, welcoming, and inclusive community environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
