Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a proactive Leasing Consultant to engage prospective residents and turn inquiries into signed leases. You will showcase floorplans and community amenities, negotiate terms, and guide applicants through the leasing process with a customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in leasing or hospitality, strong sales and communication skills, and proficiency with Yardi or CRM systems. A weekend rotation is required in this fast-paced property team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in leasing, sales or hospitality.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; weekend rotation available.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective residents through tours, calls, emails and in person interactions.
• Explain community features, floorplans, amenities, and pricing to compare with competitors.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up to convert prospects into leases.
• Manage leasing process including applicant qualification, lease prep and move-ins.
• Maintain organized records of leasing activity, applications and leases in the system.
• Support occupancy goals through new leases, renewals and waitlist management.
