Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Shoreline, WA to welcome prospects, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process. You will engage with residents, support renewals, and assist with marketing and community events to maintain high occupancy.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and familiarity with property management tools such as Appfolio and Google Suite. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred.
• Experience with MFTE programs preferred.
• Proficiency in Appfolio and Google Suite preferred.
• Background in multifamily property management, retail sales, hospitality, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and assess housing needs; establish rapport.
• Conduct property tours highlighting features and community benefits.
• Handle leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person with timely follow-ups.
• Guide prospects through application submission and qualification verification.
• Process lease applications and communicate approvals/denials and next steps.
• Meet or exceed leasing goals by closing leases and maintaining high conversion rates.
• Maintain knowledge of local market conditions, pricing strategies, and competitor offerings.
• Assist with renewals, lease extensions, and transfers to maximize retention.
• Provide exceptional customer experience to residents and guests.
• Assist new residents with move-in and ensure a smooth transition.
• Address inquiries and concerns professionally; promote resident satisfaction.
• Support renewal efforts through follow-ups and retention programs.
• Assist with online marketing, property listings, social media, and digital advertising.
• Maintain updated leasing materials and promotional content.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns and community outreach.
• Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis.
