Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction. Create a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents through a customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook) and basic computer skills.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (questions, guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record telephone and in-person visits; file guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and available units; communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits in line with procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Update availability reports and process approvals (credit, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Input lease information into the Yardi System and ensure accuracy.
• Assist the management team with additional tasks and uphold community policies.
