Job summary

Excelsior Communities is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team across two apartment complexes in the Rochester, NY area. The role requires working at multiple properties with a short commute between sites.

You will respond to leads, schedule property tours, process applications, generate leases, and help residents with issues while supporting maintenance and administrative tasks. A strong focus on customer service and independent work is essential.

Qualifications

• Leasing or Sales experience preferred.
• Great customer service skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Responding to leads and scheduling tours of the property.
• Accepting and processing applications and generating resident leases.
• Addressing current resident issues and submitting work orders to maintenance.
• Assist the property management team with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones and managing correspondence.

This position requires time at 2 of our apartment complexes, which is a 10 minute commute.

Daily duties include:

• Responding to leads

• Scheduling tours of the property

• Accepting and processing applications

• Generating resident leases

• Addressing current resident issues

• Submitting work orders to maintenance

• Assist the property management team with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.

• Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, and other communications to tenants.

• Assist with the collection and processing of rent payments, ensuring accurate and timely recording.

Experience:

• Leasing or Sales experience preferred.

• Great customer service skills required.

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
