Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Leasing Consultant for a 314-unit apartment community. You will greet prospects, show apartments, process applications and leases, and close leases in compliance with laws.

The role requires at least 1 year in leasing or sales, excellent communication, and the ability to type 30 WPM. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and apartment rental discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leasing, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Good leasing and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to type 30 WPM and stay organized.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or similar programs.
• Must be able to work 3 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and residents.
• Answering and returning resident calls and emails.
• Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely.
• Selling features and amenities to prospective residents.
• Showing apartments to prospects.
• Securing leases.
• Assisting with marketing, including social media and content creation.

Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly new lease AND renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

In addition to greeting prospects, you will also show apartments, close sales, and process rental applications and leases in compliance with fair housing laws. Requirements

Work Days: Monday - Saturday
Work Hours: M-F 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid LA Driver's License
