About The Leasing Consultant Position At The Hamptons

We’re looking for a talented leasing consultant responsible for coordinating apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. The role involves interacting with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and ensure satisfaction.

• Provide excellent customer service, listen, understand, and show empathy and respect.
• Generate traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, prepare lease documents, and handle move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition.
• Orient residents, process renewals, and maintain accurate records.
• Follow up with prospects, convert calls into tours, and coordinate move-ins/outs with maintenance.
• Create and maintain confidential resident files and complete leasing reports.
• Assist with resident relations, inspect property safety and cleanliness, and support administrative tasks.
• Participate in planning resident activities and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• One year of residential leasing experience preferred.

Skills and Requirements

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance required.
• Completion of Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
