Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing, compliance, and resident services. This role emphasizes operations administration, budgeting, risk management, and ensuring a quality living experience for residents.

COS and LIHTC certification strongly preferred, with five days in office each week. Responsibilities include supervising leasing activities, processing certifications, and maintaining resident ledgers while collaborating with the

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in a progressive career path in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail Management required.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail required.
• Knowledge of all regulatory programs, polices and Federal Housing Laws and Guidelines required.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or other industry software experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily site operations and maintains open communication with the Community Manager and staff.
• Monitors and tracks leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepares re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications, occupancy agreements and reports.
• Screens applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and regulatory requirements.
• Keeps informed of market conditions and updates competitive market analysis quarterly.
• Enters and codes invoices, posts rents, and maintains accurate resident ledgers.
