Job summary

TLC Management Co. is seeking an Assistant Residential Community Manager in St. Charles, IL to assist the Community Manager with daily operations and leasing activities.

You will show units, process applications, prepare leases, and respond to resident inquiries to ensure a positive living experience. You will coordinate maintenance, move-ins/outs, and enforce policies while supporting rent collection and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a fast-paced residential community
• Knowledge of effective marketing, sales and closing techniques
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with the day-to-day operations of the residential community
• Support leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
• Demonstrated initiative, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, including furniture delivery and pick up
• Help enforce community policies and procedures to maintain a safe and pleasant environment
• Assist with rent collection, account management, and the issuance of 5-day notices
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
• Support community events and resident engagement initiatives
• Comply with Fair Housing laws
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Community Manager and the Vice President of Operations
