Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, compliance, maximizing rental income and resident services. The role emphasizes operations administration and meeting compliance objectives while delivering a quality living experience for residents.

Certification in COS and LIHTC is strongly preferred. This position requires five days a week in the office and includes supervising staff, preparing reports, maintaining ledgers, and coordinating

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in residential property management.
• 2+ years in property management, hospitality or retail.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs and Federal Housing Laws.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily site operations and communicate with the Community Manager and staff.
• Monitor leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepare re-certifications, applications, verifications, and reports.
• Screen applicants for Tenant Selection Plan compliance.
• Maintain resident ledgers, post rents and manage deposits.
• Oversee office functions and supervise team members.
• Inspect property and coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Assist in budgeting, risk management and compliance reporting.
• Support recruitment, training and performance reviews.
