Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager and stand in during their absence. This role handles leasing, marketing, and resident relations while maintaining accurate financial records and processing applications in a timely manner.

You will help prepare advertising materials, greet prospects, screen applicants, and manage notices and renewals. Strong communication and a valid driver's license are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification required or willing to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Apartment management experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and others.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering criteria.
• Process applications and deposits in accordance with procedures.
• Update availability report and process approvals.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Type lease paperwork and input data into Yardi.
• Assist with lease preparation, signing, and administration.
• Ensure invoices are approved and paid promptly.
• Maintain open communication with Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
