Job summary

Fogelman in Memphis, TN is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lead property tours, complete the leasing process, and promote the community through marketing efforts.

The role emphasizes prospective resident interviews, lease paperwork, move-in coordination, and strong customer service to maintain positive relations.

Weekend work may be required; candidates should have good communication skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a leasing professional preferred.
• One year of related experience or training acceptable.
• Experience with virtual and in-person community tours preferred.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
• Marketing skills with ability to execute a property marketing plan via outside marketing, social media and resident functions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Accompanies prospects to model/vacant apartments and discusses lease terms and amenities.
• Ensures consistent follow-up with prospects.
• Processes applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Schedules move-ins and completes all lease paperwork with prospects.
• Walks all move-ins prior to the move-in date to ensure readiness.
• Follow up with new residents after move-in.
• Inspects condition of premises and arranges for maintenance.
• Plans and coordinates resident events.
• Handles resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Assists with marketing duties including market surveys and notices.
