Job summary

2B Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for The Cunningham in West Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will build relationships, close effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with rent collection, delinquencies, evictions, and leasing while coordinating operations. A High School diploma and 2 years of residential leasing or property management experience are preferred; Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years residential leasing and/or property management experience.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounts receivable including collecting rent, posting rent, making daily bank deposits, and maintaining a balanced rent roll.
• Completes monthly financial and leasing reports, including month-end pre-close, closeout, market surveys and lease expiration matrix.
• Audits records and files for administrative actions such as lease expiration dates and delinquencies.
• Collects delinquent balances from previous residents.
• Processes evictions, including paperwork, notices, and court appearances.
• Leases apartments as needed.
• Assists Property Manager with training staff on leasing and office operations.
• Assists with resident retention and planning social events at the property.
