Job summary

University Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Riverside, CA to support daily property operations and leasing performance. This role assists with staff supervision, leasing approvals, marketing execution, financial coordination, and resident services while preparing to manage the community in the Community Manager’s absence.

Key duties include supervising leasing staff, reviewing applications, maintaining Entrata data, coordinating campaigns, and supporting events.

Qualifications

• Experience leading leasing teams and ensuring Fair Housing compliance.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Experience with property management software (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and training the leasing team.
• Review and approve lease applications and verify file accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity in Entrata for traffic, leases, renewals and work orders.
• Meet with leadership to discuss leasing issues and performance.
• Process daily lease approvals and renewals; maintain Marketing Calendar.
• Conduct market surveys and suggest pricing adjustments.
• Track leasing activity and support roommate matching efforts.
• Assist with move-in/move-out coordination and resident communications.
• Support events and promotional initiatives; assist with expenses.
• Oversee social media and community communications prior to publication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Step in as Community Manager when necessary.
