Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Services, LLC is seeking a Leasing Agent to be the first contact for prospective residents and to maintain high occupancy at the community. You will market available units, guide applicants through the leasing process, and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years on-site property management or leasing experience.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing programs (e.g., LIHTC, Section 8) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents and present available apartments.
• Ensure leasing activities comply with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other laws.
• Complete leasing documents including applications, addenda, income certifications, leases, and communications.
• Enter and update applicant information in leasing software systems.
• Maintain required reports on leasing activity and file paperwork accurately.
• Support marketing efforts by organizing events and conducting market surveys.
• Assist with outreach marketing to meet marketing goals and resident satisfaction.
• Monitor turnover, inspect move-outs, and ensure market-ready apartments.
• Assist residents during move-in and orientation processes.
• Provide prompt responses to resident concerns and service requests.
• Assist with rent collections and deposits as needed.
• Maintain waiting lists for affordable properties.
