Job summary

CIG Communities seeks an energetic Leasing Agent in Columbus, OH to manage the full leasing cycle—from prospecting and tours to lease execution and move-in coordination. This role emphasizes a resident-focused approach, strong communication, and the ability to hit leasing targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate marketing efforts, maintain listings, and support move-in logistics while delivering a high-quality leasing experience and contributing to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience (leasing, retail, hospitality, or real estate preferred).
• Previous experience in apartment leasing or residential property management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents during tours and throughout the leasing process.
• Present available units and community amenities persuasively.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and CRM to convert leads into leases.
