Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Leasing Agent for South Quarter, a quartet of apartment communities in South Minneapolis near Portland and Franklin Avenues: The Rose, The Wellstone, The Jourdain and Pine Cliff. You will manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, focusing on building relationships and guiding applicants through applications and eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role such as leasing or property management.
• Ability to learn leasing criteria, eligibility, and Fair Housing requirements.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with cultural responsiveness.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; manage multiple prospects.
• Team-oriented and capable of collaborating with property management and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and provide information on available homes and leasing process.
• Conduct property and apartment tours and follow up to move prospects through leasing process.
• Guide applicants through application, documentation, income verification, eligibility.
• Prepare leases, addenda, and move-in materials.
• Support renewals and resident retention with timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure apartment readiness.
• Maintain accurate leasing records in Aeon's systems.
