Position Overview: Leasing Agent

The Leasing Agent oversees all aspects of the branch Leasing Department, including prospect management, application processing, and market analysis. The role requires an active real estate license and reports to the Branch Leasing Manager or Senior Branch Leasing Manager. This is a full-time, work-from-home position with operating hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend assignments and occasional evening work during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage applications and ensure accurate data entry into the CRM system.
  2. Follow up on applications using daily/weekly reports.
  3. Qualify applicants by collecting necessary documentation such as rental history and income verification.
  4. Screen applicants and request exceptions with proper documentation.
  5. Publish and syndicate marketed homes on approved third-party websites.
  6. Execute lease agreements using standardized documents, ensuring accuracy and proper completion, then upload into the resident management system.
  7. Conduct local property verifications for marketing, signage, and presentation.
  8. Meet weekly Service Level Agreements through effective applicant and prospect management.
  9. Perform market analysis and prepare reports for marketed homes in collaboration with Revenue Management.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Real Estate Agent in the relevant state.
  • 1-2 years of sales/marketing experience in property management preferred.
  • High-speed internet and dedicated home office workspace.
  • Provision of equipment and stipends by Main Street Renewal.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
