Job summary

Meta is seeking a Preconstruction Manager, Leased to join our Data Center Design, Engineering, and Construction team. You will work with DEC leadership to negotiate leases and drive leased data center projects from design kickoff through site break-ground and contract execution.

You will lead procurement, budgets, scheduling, constructability, and risk analysis for large-scale facilities, coordinate with engineering and external partners, and develop award recommendations to ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of direct professional experience in Commercial/Construction Management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Experience with large capital projects, leased data center development, and preconstruction.
• Experience in preconstruction: budget, scheduling, risk, negotiation, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and influence lease terms with data center developers while balancing risk, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure successful execution of large commercial agreements from design kickoff to construction start.
• Lead program alignment across multiple projects in preconstruction and evaluate risks and costs.
• Report project status, risk, budget, and schedule to leadership with KPIs.
• Provide bid leveling and recommendations on bidders and scope completeness.
• Interface with Engineering to develop scope, budgets, and schedules for new products.
• Support build strategy through supply chain analysis and vendor selection.
• Develop new processes and tooling to support initiatives and improve workflows.
• Provide constructability input and contribute to total cost of ownership analyses.
• Maintain external partner networks and drive change mitigation strategies.
