Job summary

Meta seeks a Preconstruction Manager, Leased to lead lease negotiations and manage leased data center projects from design kickoff to contract execution. You will coordinate design, engineering, and construction teams to optimize cost, schedule, and risk across large-scale, mission-critical sites.

The role requires strong procurement, budgeting, scheduling, constructability, and negotiation experience, with a focus on delivering efficient preconstruction outcomes and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and influence lease negotiations with data center developers while balancing risk, cost, and schedule
• Lead preconstruction with design kick-off through to construction start and contract execution for large-scale data center projects
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs, assess risk, and ensure commercially responsible terms in contracts
• Manage reporting on status, risk, budget, and schedule for preconstruction/planning stages
• Provide bid leveling and evaluation of external partner proposals to select the best bidder
• Interface with Engineering to set scope, budgets, and schedules for new products and projects
• Support procurement strategy including vendor selection and development of contract models
