General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Leasing Associate to show apartments, qualify prospects, and secure leases while maintaining occupancy at premium levels.

The role involves greeting customers, converting inquiries to tours, processing applications, and preparing lease paperwork. A high school diploma and strong sales ability are required; leasing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Outstanding sales ability in a computerized environment.
• Preferred: One year of leasing experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leasing apartments at optimum rent levels and keeping vacancies to a minimum.
• Greet customers by standing and smiling.
• Convert walk-in prospects into secured leases.
• Convert telephone calls and emails to appointments
• Maintain a waiting list and follow up on waiting list applicants.
• Follow up on Guest Cards by letter, telephone, and email.
• Screen applicants to include requesting and reviewing credit reports, employment references, and rental references.
• Prepare leases
• Conduct Move-in orientations
• Maintain Move-in List.
