The Land Analysis Professional, working under general supervision, is responsible for handling moderately complex matters in land and land administration. The role reviews and analyzes oil and gas leases, exploration and production contracts, and related title and ownership documents to ensure proper maintenance of these assets, enters data into the company's lease and contract systems to maintain land records and contractual obligations, and maintains related digital files. The role supports landmen in complex matters including the preparation of oil and gas contracts, processing of oil and gas leases, and correspondence. The role is responsible for the processing, routing, and monitoring of AFEs and associated ballots, and communicating associated interest calculations and changes. The specific scope of responsibility will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.
3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Leasing, Land, Land Administration, including Lease Records or Division Orders, Land Management, Title and Ownership Verification, or a related field. Industry experience is preferred. Preferably a member of National Association of Land & Title Analysts (NALTA).
