Driven Brands in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Manager of Lease Accounting to lead day‑to‑day lease accounting, close, and control activities across operating and finance leases. You will drive remediation efforts, improve documentation, and ensure SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification.
• Experience with ASC 842 and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating and finance lease accounting, including additions, terminations, and reassessments.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy and controls.
• Lead remediation activities for lease accounting and close processes.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Legal, Operations, FP&A and other stakeholders for timely lease events.
• Support lease system transition, data validation, testing, and documentation.
• Provide guidance and review support to senior accountants on lease accounting, close, and controls.
