Job summary

Crusoe is seeking an Accounting Manager, Leases to own ASC 842 lease accounting for a non-standard data center portfolio, including land, build-to-suit, colocation, and energy-related arrangements. You will drive monthly close, policy development, and audit readiness.

You will coach a Senior Accountant, partner with Legal, Real Estate, and FP&A, and build scalable processes while maintaining SOX controls and external audit relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ASC 842 experience with non-standard lease structures.
• CPA certified or extensive CPA track record.
• Strong technical accounting judgment and ability to reach conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 842 conclusions for complex lease arrangements.
• Draft and review lease memos and policy; ensure consistent application.
• Manage lease subledger review, new leases, modifications, and remeasurements.
• Own month-end lease close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review Senior Accountant entries and resolve escalations; assist audit readiness.
