Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar preferred.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to process a high volume of invoices and reconciliations.
• Ability to use critical thinking to make decisions.
• Ability to communicate with many levels inside/outside the company.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work well independently with expanding duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process various leasing related invoices and reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Process monthly rent for leased cafes.
• Calculate and journalize real estate tax and common area maintenance accruals.
• Complete monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist in gathering documentation for internal and external audits of assets and related internal controls.
• Perform lease accounting subledger procedures for period-end close.
• Communication with bakery-cafes and district managers as well as support center accountants for proper recording of lease accounting expenditures.
