Job summary

Aims Community College seeks a part-time tutor to support learners with confidence and independence, guiding them to use campus resources and develop study and test-taking skills. You will maintain documentation and participate in tutor trainings and observations, while collaborating with the Chair and faculty to ensure effective methodologies.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with Logic Pro and Pro Tools.
• Familiar with audio consoles and microphones.
• Ability to work with diverse students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Tutors with limited supervision from tutorial services staff.
• Supports tutoring for classroom, online, and self-paced courses.
• Assists with training of new tutors.
• Communicates with faculty and supervisor to ensure appropriate tutoring methods.
• Provides instructional materials and study/test-taking strategies.
