Job summary

Georgia State University is seeking a Learning Technologist, Associate within the Learning Innovations team at the Dunwoody Campus to support instructors and students with technology-enabled teaching and learning.

The position focuses on one-on-one and helpdesk support, testing new learning technologies, and delivering professional training via webinars, workshops, or conferences while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

Earned bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and strong communication skills.
Experience providing technical support in an educational setting is preferred.
Familiarity with learning management systems and digital courseware.
Proficiency with common office software and online collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Respond to tickets and help requests from students and instructors in a timely manner.
Provide daily support to enhance technology-enabled teaching and learning.
Provide one-on-one support to instructors on technological and pedagogical practices related to learning technologies.
Employ problem solving skills to research solutions to tickets and help requests.
Review support materials for learning technologies for students and instructors.
Assist with testing new technology implementations.
Assist with documentation of learning technologies.
Provide feedback on the design and delivery of professional development and training opportunities that support teaching and learning.
Research and recommend new technologies and strategies.
Attend and present at professional conferences, webinars, and workshops.
