Job summary

Georgia State University’s Learning Innovations unit seeks a Learning Technologist, Associate to support technology-enabled teaching and learning across modalities. You will handle helpdesk tickets, provide one-on-one instructor support, and test new learning technologies.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology or related field with 1+ year in educational tech, and will deliver webinars/workshops while staying current with trends in the field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience.
  • Experience with learning technologies and instructional design.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience providing technical support in education.
  • Familiarity with LMS and web conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to tickets and help requests from students and instructors.
  • Provide daily support to enhance technology-enabled teaching and learning.
  • One-on-one support to instructors on technological and pedagogical practices.
  • Test new technology implementations and review materials.
  • Assist with documentation and professional development efforts.
