Job summary

UF Lastinger Center for Learning is seeking an OPS - Learning Technologies Specialist to design, develop, and maintain online courses using D2L Brightspace or Articulate Rise. You will apply instructional design and accessibility principles, craft content, and collaborate with SMEs and program staff to improve courses.

The role includes QA, accessibility checks, and ensuring SCORMs and tools function properly, with a focus on quality and timely delivery at the Gainesville campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with instructional design principles, UDL, and accessibility standards for online learning.
• Experience designing and developing online courses using D2L Brightspace or Articulate Rise.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and eLearning standards like SCORM.
• Strong organizational, project coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience in academic/educational settings collaborating with SMEs and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain online courses within D2L Brightspace or Articulate Rise.
• Apply instructional design, accessibility, and visual design principles.
• Utilize Brightspace/Articulate Rise features, HTML, CSS, and other approved technologies.
• Create, organize, and maintain course content, materials, and assets.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, and stakeholders to improve courses.
• Conduct QA and accessibility checks to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure SCORMs and integrated tools perform as intended.
