Job summary

CIA is seeking an Instructional Design Generalist to manage LMS content across Moodle and Brightspace, ensuring accessibility and course readiness. You will support faculty, build course shells, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high-quality online delivery.

The role requires collaboration with the SGPS team, experience in instructional design, and a commitment to accessible, well-structured online learning experiences for campus, remote, and online participants.

Qualifications

• Experience administering, building, or supporting an LMS (Moodle/Brightspace preferred).
• Strong understanding of online learning principles and accessibility standards.
• Ability to organize, test, and troubleshoot LMS content with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication with faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain SGPS course content in Moodle and Brightspace.
• Create course shells, modules, activities, quizzes, and resources.
• Test materials, ensure accessibility, and support course launch readiness.
• Provide Tier 1/2 LMS troubleshooting and user support for faculty and students.
• Develop reusable templates, rubrics, and course-build checklists.
