Job summary

Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC is seeking a senior leader to drive strategy and operations for learning technology across a 22,500+ U.S.-based field force. You will oversee platform operations, governance, and analytics while partnering with Field Talent, Digital Product, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-informed learning experiences.

You will lead a small but expert team, champion AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure regulatory and reporting controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development with learning technology impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in learning technology, instructional design, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of learning technology professionals.
• Expertise in learning technology ecosystems including LMS, LXPs, virtual classrooms, integrations, data and reporting; Docebo/Zoom preferred.
• Deep proficiency in platform operations: configuration, catalog management, security, assignments, integrations, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a learning technology team responsible for platform operations and support for learners and partners.
• Act as the learning business lead for field-facing learning platform operations and evolution.
• Execute the learning technology roadmap in collaboration with Field Talent, Digital Product, and Field Function partners.
• Identify and apply AI-enabled capabilities to enhance learner/leader experience and drive efficiency.
