U.S. Bank is seeking a Learning Consultant to translate business line strategy into structured learning journeys, partnering with instructional designers and SMEs to align resources and delivery.

The role connects with GL&D and HR to drive shared ownership and ensure programs are scalable and integrated into the workflow. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in learning and development or related fields, with strong consulting, measurement, and business acumen to drive performance improvements

• Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence peers and leaders.
• Deep understanding of business consulting, learning strategy, capability development, or performance improvement.
• Expertise in adult learning principles and modern, blended learning approaches.
• Experience using formal measurement frameworks and data to drive decisions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning strategy to business line priorities, performance goals, employee needs, and measurable outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with business leaders and develop a deep understanding of its strategy, operating context, talent, and performance priorities to understand performance priorities and capability gaps
• Lead structured discovery and diagnostic conversations to identify root causes of performance gaps, including learning and non-learning factors.
• Guide stakeholders toward enterprise-aligned solutions that address the business line’s needs
• Act as a connector across assigned business line, GL&D, and HR to drive shared ownership and clarity
• Translate business line strategy into structured learning journeys, programs, and experiences
• Partner with instructional designers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to ensure solutions align to the strategy and to align resources and execution
• Establish governance routines, prioritization mechanisms, and decision forums to maintain focus and momentum
• Ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and integrated into flow of work
• Define success metrics tied to capability, readiness, employee performance, and outcomes defined with the assigned business line
• Apply formal measurement and evaluation approaches aligned to ISO standards (e.g., effectiveness, efficiency, and impact)
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess program performance and inform continuous improvement
• Communicate impact through clear, executive-ready insights and storytelling
