Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools seeks a Learning Specialist to design and deliver specialized instruction for students with disabilities. The role includes advocacy, assessment, collaboration with general education staff, and ensuring compliance with IDEA/ECEA regulations.

The specialist will develop IEPs, monitor student progress, and coordinate information across the IEP team, teachers, and families to support individualized learning plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Colorado Educator License within 30 days or in process.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate specially designed math, literacy and social/emotional instruction for students with disabilities.
• Act as case manager and develop IEPs for students.
• Monitor progress toward goals and support implementation of accommodations.
