LEARN Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and IEP implementation. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and staff to ensure access to accommodations and opportunities for success.

The candidate should hold Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe certifications, with a strong background in evidence-based practices and a passion for helping students grow academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Credential.
• Master’s degree preferred or intern student in program.
• Autism-specific or related certificate preferred.
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and SDI.
• Provide instruction in a positive learning climate.
• Adapt resources for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and admins.
• Assist in assessing curricular needs and improvement plans.
