Devereux Pocono Center is seeking a Learning Specialist to schedule and deliver training for staff, applying a range of adult learning techniques. The role emphasizes supporting behavioral health programs and employee development.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience, plus familiarity with LMS platforms and data collection tools. A collaborative, multidisciplinary environment is offered with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in development, education, training, or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in behavioral healthcare setting with staff training; CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention/Intervention preferred.
• Experience with learning management systems and data collection/analysis platforms (Absorb, MyAvatar, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deliver training and development to Devereux employees using varied instructional strategies for adult learners.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and leadership to implement training programs.
