Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in West Chester, PA is seeking an Instructional Support Specialist to work with children with special needs. You will assist with individualized plans, support classroom activities, and help maintain a safe and clean environment.

The role offers a 52-week year, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with growth and professional development opportunities, paid training, and the ASCEND Career Accelerator Program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the children in your care with their individualized plans for daily life.
• Support the children with classroom activities
• Ensure the students are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of the client.
