Job description

Peak Performers has partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company to assist in their search for a Learning Specialist. In this contract position, you will support the coordination of commercial learning activities.

Major duties

1. Management of new hire training experience (initial contact, materials, & ongoing communication).
2. Organize, coordinate, and deploy learning management system (LMS) / learner experience platform (LXP) assignments and MS Teams training sessions.
3. Lead / support management of new hire training classes and materials.
4. Coordinate hotel contracts / registration for New Hire Training with Senior Training Specialist and meeting planners.
5. Support process to build, analyze, and distribute surveys for key projects and meetings to internal partners.
6. Support CL&LD team with vendor & contract management, including PO creation and coordinating with Accounts Payable for CL&LD.
7. Support management of meeting agendas, updates, and communications for training-owned meetings.
8. Support management of LXP including uploading content, running reports, troubleshooting, etc.

What are we looking for?

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
2. 4+ years of related experience, preferred.
3. Proven experience with LMS and LXP solutions.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
6. Strong attention to detail, organization, and administrative skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
8. Experience with managing a budget.
9. Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Ability to work independently in a proactive manner to anticipate and solve problems.

About this position

1. Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour
2. Length of engagement: ~12 months
3. Days/Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-5pm
4. This position is hybrid in Waltham, MA
