Job summary

World Wide Window Fashions in Philadelphia seeks a Learning & Organizational Development Consultant to design, launch, and supervise a company-wide training system. The initial priority is a structured 6-month Associate Territory Sales Manager training program moving graduates to full territory ownership.

You will collaborate with internal mentors to translate tacit knowledge into curriculum, build onboarding and training tracks, set metrics, and coach mentors to become trainers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in organizational development, corporate training, or L&D — ideally with experience in sales-driven, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Proven skill in knowledge-capture facilitation — turn tacit know-how into structured, teachable curriculum
• Track record designing onboarding/ramp programs with measurable business outcomes
• Experience developing subject-matter experts into internal trainers/mentors
• Exceptional interpersonal and emotional intelligence — credibility with executives, managers, and new hires
• Comfort with ambiguity; build-it-from-scratch mandate
• Bonus: experience with sales competency frameworks or B2B/dealer-distribution sales models

Responsibilities

• Design the training structure, sequencing, and milestones for the ATSM 6-month program with competency checkpoints and readiness assessment before hand-off
• Identify internal leaders and mentors and run a structured process to extract tacit knowledge into curriculum
• Co-develop curriculum content with mentors — you own the framework, they own the expertise
• Build a scalable onboarding and culture training framework tied to core values
• Coordinate customer service and product/technical training tracks with internal leaders and SMEs
• Establish clear metrics for training effectiveness and report progress to leadership
• Train internal mentors to become effective trainers — coaching on how to teach
• Facilitate live sessions where appropriate, but design for internal mentors to carry delivery
• Coach managers on reinforcing training in day-to-day management
