Job summary

Philanthropy Northwest seeks a Program Manager for The Learning Network to develop and implement learning experiences for philanthropy professionals across six states. The role engages with members, community partners and stakeholders to design, coordinate and facilitate timely programming that strengthens effective philanthropy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience managing projects in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector, and facilitating high profile programs.
• Understanding of adult learning design and facilitation.
• Exemplary oral, written and online communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage relationships with integrity and consistency with diverse people and communities.
• Comfort with event planning, including logistics, marketing, speaker curation and coordination for meetings.
• Comfort with ambiguity, flexibility and adapting to shifting priorities and plans.
• Ability to travel occasionally throughout the six-state region.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Openness to coaching and giving/receiving feedback.
• Team player able to collaborate with others, communicate effectively and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the learning network team to design and implement programs meeting learning, networking and professional development needs of professionals in philanthropy.
• Develop and facilitate trainings, cohort learning experiences, funder tables, and other workshops and gatherings.
• Coordinate program logistics, speakers and presenters, scheduling and AV, supplies and catering.
• Develop and incorporate evaluation methodology into all programs.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with philanthropic members and stakeholder organizations.
• Identify and leverage existing programs and new opportunities that engage members in democracy, diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Other duties as assigned.
