Job description

Philanthropy Missouri (PhilMO) equips, connects, and energizes Missouri’s philanthropic community for thoughtful action and greater impact. Founded in 1970, we are the statewide membership association for grantmakers — corporations, foundations, trusts, donor-advised funds, and professional advisors — and an engaged member of the United Philanthropy Forum, the largest network of philanthropy-infrastructure organizations in the U.S. We envision a thriving and equitable Missouri, served by a collaborative, purpose-driven, and effective philanthropic sector.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Learning & Network Manager to lead the design and delivery of programming and steward our Member Networks.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and deliver engaging virtual and in-person learning and community-building programs
  • Manage program logistics, speakers, communications, and evaluation
  • Cultivate and support Member Networks across interest, geography, and identity
  • Partner with volunteer leaders to strengthen peer engagement
  • Build relationships across Missouri’s philanthropic ecosystem
  • Stay attuned to sector trends to keep programs relevant and responsive
Who We’re Looking For

An organized, thoughtful connector with strong project management and event planning experience, superb communication skills, and sound judgment. You’re curious, adaptable, and approach challenges with pragmatism and care. You value collaboration, equity, and creating spaces where diverse perspectives are welcomed. Experience in philanthropy or the nonprofit sector is a plus.

Benefits
  • 100% premium coverage for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 15 paid holidays plus PTO starting at 15 days annually
  • 3% employer retirement contribution from day one
  • Flexible schedule and location; part-time and contractor arrangements possible
  • St. Louis-based preferred; all Missouri candidates considered
