Job summary

Northwest Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to advance onboarding, leadership development, training, engagement, and culture across the organization.

The role collaborates with leaders to identify learning needs and design meaningful development opportunities that align with the mission and values. The position focuses on building robust programs, coordinating LMS activities, and supporting compliance and employee well-being while strengthening our workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD, Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years in learning and development, HR, organizational development, training, or employee engagement.
• Experience designing and facilitating adult learning and onboarding.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, project management, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HRIS or related technology.
• Valid Oregon Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate organization-wide learning and development programs.
• Assess training needs and create annual and quarterly training plans.
• Design engaging training, resources, and learning opportunities for employees and leaders.
• Facilitate new employee orientation and support onboarding.
• Coordinate LMS activities, training assignments, completion tracking, and reporting.
• Design and facilitate leadership development programs; coach managers and supervisors.
• Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and employee development needs.
• Support engagement surveys, pulse checks, stay interviews and culture initiatives.
