Job summary

The Walmart Academy - Sam’s Club in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Manager, Learning and Development to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders, develop content, and ensure effectiveness through performance analysis.

You will supervise and mentor associates, promote continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, Education, or related field with 2 years’ experience in adult learning or 4 years’ related experience.
• Master’s degree in Learning and Development, HR, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with business goals to enhance associate performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support training initiatives.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of blended learning programs and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Monitor program effectiveness by analyzing trainee performance data and identifying gaps.
• Ensure compliance with training standards, policies, and governance processes.
• Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to associates for professional growth.
• Drive process improvements to meet evolving business needs.
