Job summary

Sycamore Springs Elementary is seeking a Facilitator of Learning and Innovation to lead the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI). You will direct the program, support teachers with resources, and advance information literacy, inquiry, critical thinking, creativity, and technology skills across classrooms.

The role emphasizes instructional leadership, collaboration with district initiatives, and the development of equitable access to digital and instructional resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library and information science from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas school librarian certificate or endorsement.
• Three years classroom teaching experience; experience with teacher leadership or coaching is preferred.
• Experience in educational technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI) program to support literacy, inquiry, creativity, innovation, and student achievement.
• Develop and maintain CLI print and digital collections aligned to curriculum and student interests.
• Oversee CLI resource acquisition, processing, circulation, and inventory; ensure equitable access.
• Collaborate with teachers/administrators to support curriculum, instruction, assessment, and student learning.
• Provide professional learning, coaching, and resources to teachers; promote responsible technology use.
• Develop and manage the CLI budget; prepare reports and program documentation.
• Collaborate with district and campus teams to implement district initiatives and family/community engagement.
