Job summary

Sylvania is seeking an instructional team leader who coordinates grade/content teams to implement PLC-driven questions and goals. You will organize meetings, set norms, and act as a communication link between administration and staff to support student data analysis and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements applicable to the position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the grade level/content area team to engage in PLC questions.
• Enhance team capacity for interdependent, accountable work.
• Plan agendas, chair meetings, and set team norms.
• Serve as liaison between administration and staff.
• Lead analysis and improvement of student data.
• Identify and communicate professional development needs.
• Attend ITL Learning Sessions and apply new practices.
• Participate in building leadership team and school improvement efforts.
