Job summary

Sylvania in Tucson is seeking a 21st CCLC Certified Instructor to provide academic interventions, enrichment, tutoring, and educational support for students in the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.

You will develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities that reinforce school-day learning, promote positive youth development, and foster a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Substitute Teacher Certificate, or Guidance Counseling Certificate.
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience working with school-age children in classroom, out of school, or educational settings.
• Knowledge of effective instructional practices and student engagement strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and community partners.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and ability to read and comprehend instructions.
