Job summary

Wheels is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to transform business needs into engaging digital and live learning for employees and customers. You will partner with SMEs, Product Management, and stakeholders, turning complex information into practical learning experiences and defining learning strategies.

Experience designing across eLearning, videos, ILT, and simulations, with accessibility in mind, is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, training development, or a related field.
• Experience managing learning projects from needs analysis through design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Experience creating digital learning with authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
• Clear communication in writing, conversation, and visuals; consult effectively with stakeholders; manage projects; and simplify complex information.
• Knowledge of adult learning, accessibility, and inclusive or universal design.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve learning and performance challenges from discovery through evaluation.
• Be a learning consultant and trusted partner with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Choose the right format and make complexity clear across eLearning, video, ILT, simulations, and job aids.
• Blend instructional design, storytelling, technology, collaboration, and experimentation to create engaging learning.
• Design for accessibility and inclusive design; use feedback and data to improve learning.
