Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) for the LEAD team within Returns Operations Excellence. You will own learning programs from strategy through delivery, including eLearning modules built in Articulate 360 and Umbrella LMS management.

You will translate complex operational needs into scalable digital learning experiences for frontline associates and leaders, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of learning design, learning science, instructional design, or similar field.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360, building virtual, asynchronous content.
• Working knowledge of Umbrella LMS and automated workflows.
• Experience administering an LMS—curriculum configuration, assignments, enrollment, reporting.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for non‑expert audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end learning programs—from needs analysis through delivery, measurement, and iteration.
• Design and build Umbrella‑compatible training content and expand capabilities.
• Lead discussions with Program Managers to design automated learning solutions.
• Manage translation expansion across the network using tools and AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and operational grounding.
• Lead QA and publish learning solutions and maintain documentation.
